METAIRIE, LA, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Integrative Recovery Therapies (IRT), a New Orleans-area behavioral health provider specializing in addiction and mental health treatment, has launched a Recovery Court Program in partnership with the 29th Judicial District Court. The program serves St. Charles Parish residents participating in Recovery Court, commonly known as Drug Court.

A New Recovery Court Partnership
IRT’s Recovery Court Program combines substance use treatment, judicial accountability, and practical support for adults whose addiction has become connected to the justice system. The program follows a four-phase outpatient model that moves from intensive early treatment toward greater independence, incorporating individual therapy, group treatment, case coordination, and discharge planning. Participants also undergo frequent drug and alcohol testing.

“The people who come through Recovery Court are still fighting for their lives,” said Jon Oelke, PsyD, Owner and Executive Director of Integrative Recovery Therapies. “Our job is to give them real treatment, not a checklist.”

Building on an Established Program
The Recovery Court Program joins IRT’s existing Drug Interruption Group (DIG), an ongoing program the practice runs in partnership with the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center. DIG follows its own three-phase structure and draws on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Together, the two programs give IRT a wider reach in justice-involved behavioral health care, spanning incarceration through court-ordered outpatient recovery.
